The Right Way(s) To Eat Greek Yogurt

One of two things bother’s me these days.
1. People eating the store bought flavoured greek yogurt(example, strawberry). Which although fat-free are obviously not going to do you much good as they are loaded with sugar.
2. People who say they eat this store bought flavoured greek yogurt because plain greek yogurt is disgusting by itself.

I care to disagree.

This greek yogurt is honestly delicious and because it’s so low in fat you can eat a whole 3/4-cup of it and still not feel guilty. I look forward to this everyday as a go to quick snack. But it would also make a great dessert! Here’s the recipe..

-3/4 cup plain greek yogurt
-2 tsp splenda or other sweetener(*or more to taste)
-1/2 tsp vanilla(again, feel free to add more or less)
-2 tsp Raspberry crystal light or 1 tbsp raspberry torani sugar-free syrup(HIGHLY reccommend!)
-A handful of fresh raspberries/blueberries or strawberries(You could also stir in defrosted frozen fruit!)
-Sugar-free maple syrup for drizzling

Directions:
Stir together the vanilla, splenda and raspberry syrup or crystal light until combined.
Top with chopped fruit, a sprinkle more of splenda and a drizzle of sugar-free maple syrup(best part..)

Variataions:
-Add unsweetened coconut or coconut extract with some pineapple chunks
-Add slivered almonds, pecans or walnuts
-Add maple extract
-Add lemon extract
-Stir in half a banana
-Stir in cocoa powder and sugar-free chocolate jell-o mix(add additional sweetener)
-add mint extract to vanilla/cocoa powder
-Do small bowls of different flavours and combine in a parfait(I do raspberry and vanilla!)
-Blend with fresh fruit and a little milk

Nutrition Facts for original Recipe:
12 carbs, 0g fat, 8g sugar(Natural sugar!)

Hope I changed your opinion of greek yogurt! Enjoy! 🙂
